The 19 year- old who plays Hermione alongside Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter has topped the Vanity Fair magazine list for highest earning females in acting in 2009.

She also earned her place in the latest edition of The Guinness Book of World Records by being the biggest-grossing female actress of the last decade.

Watson’s appearances in six Harry Potter installments have earned her an amazing 5.4 billion dollars worldwide; she has also picked up lucrative advertising contracts and is currently the face of Burberry, a fashion chain.

She was number fourteen on the table of Hollywood’s top 40 earners and also the youngest person to appear on it.

Emma is currently studying literature at the esteemed Brown University in Rhode Island.
She possesses riches and brains, who needs the beauty? That doesn’t stop her from being gorgeous.

The most successful of the Harry Potter bunch is of course the ‘star of the show’ Daniel Radcliffe who plays Harry Potter. Radcliffe fared even better ranking at number six on the top 40 earner’s list with an income of 25.6 million pounds!

He earned a further 600 000 pounds in royalties from Harry Potter merchandise.
Radcliffe earned more than Johnny Depp and Robert De Niro.

Right at the top of the least was director Michael Bay who made the Transformers films with Steven Spielberg second. James Cameron, the director and producer of Avatar was at number four.

It will be interesting to see how the ‘Potter Bunch’ fair after the last two installments of Harry Potter are released in the next two years. Emma Watson has speculated in the past on leaving acting for good.
