If it was, you could not find a better natural performer than Bishop Tutu, who chaired it.
People all over the world were glued to television screens, and immense sympathy was evoked, resulting in a pouring in of support for Nelson Mandela’s Trusts, and for the ANC. But its mandate had been restricted by Mandela, and, unlike in Chile, both sides were not represented on the panel. Mandela would not allow black on black violence to be covered by the commission, even although requested to do so by Chief Buthelezi. Which makes me wonder if Boipatong was not a False Flag operation by Operation Vula , the ANC Third Force ? Bishop Tutu immediately gave Winnie Mandela forgiveness for the Stompie matter and then had to force her to apologize. But the commission, on no evidence whatsoever, decided that Walrus and Derby Lewis had not made full disclosure, and there has been no evidence in 15 years either. In fact two books that I have read indicate strongly that it was Winnie who did not make full disclosure. The rest of the world knows as much about the history of South Africa, as we know about the history of China and Chile. Their knowledge mainly comes from the TRC. Which is why Kulumani Support Group thinks Caspirs were for attacking the townships, not for protecting the police going in there to stop the violence started with Winnie’s matches and necklaces. Which was exactly the same as seen in the xenophobic attacks. In fact I predict that the ANC’s may need them again if the black violence over service delivery increases. It also explains why trained people were pushed out of the Civil Service into early retirement because they were white; why we only have 10% of the roads engineers we need and our roads are disintegrating. Ditto for our water system. And why a million white children are in London because they can’t get employment here. Almost all my friends have their children out of the country – and we, remember were the opposition to the Nats, like Helen Zille. If Nelson Mandela dies, I don’t see black on white violence coming, I see black on black violence coming back again.

Mandela excluded all black on black violence - therefore all necklace killings which the book "People's War" pretty much establishes was the ANC eliminating their black opposition (PAC, IFP, Azapo) - like Mugabe did in Matabeleland. Which also left out WHAT the white security cops were re-acting to - they SAW the results of the necklace killings remember.

Exactly what did the TRC reveal about the ANC?
What did the public learn of the death and horror camps the ANC built manned and sent many thousands to their deaths in. Which camp commander spoke up. Which member of the ANC was in control of these camps and what did he have to say? When the ANC smuggled in 40 to 60 TONS of weapons of war and explosives and stored them in South Africa did the ANC hand them over? Where are these weapons of war and explosives today? Still in the hands of the ANC, illegally and the SAPS do what about it.? The public have forgotten but the ANC has not.

If Black on Black violence had been covered by the TRC these misconceptions would not have arisen.
And WHY should the families of the necklaced victims ALSO not have been allowed closure and victim status?

Kulumani Support Group is suing the Multi-nationals under the impression it seems to me from listening to their spokesperson on the radio, that the military vechicles they made were for going into the townships like the Klu Klux Klan to kill blacks, not to stop Winnie's thugs necklacing any opposition to the ANC.
Whether on the border or in the townships they were for fighting communism, legitimate in the USA.

Mandela also excluded black on black violence post the 1994 elections which was the most violent, and was the ANC trying to eliminate PAC and the IFP. Until the 1994 elections whites had controlled the army and police and checked the violence. There are a few thousand PAC and IFP prisoners in prison 15 years later claiming they are political prisoners, but Amnesty International only makes faint bleats about them.
There is a Zapiro cartoon in one of the history textbooks which depicts the violence in Kwa-Zulu Natal as by the IFP. Buthelezi should sue. Zapiro obviously knows nothing about Operation Vula. And remember the ANC were bosem buddies with the PLO and the Black Power Movement (heavily infiltrated by Islamic extremists). So why be surprised at the antics of Vavi and Kasrils?
