As we have pointed out, there are different sectors in christianity that interpret the bible in their own ways, hence you get different versions of the bible, there are bibles that actually do not have the name Jehovah in them and replace it with nouns such as God, Lord etc.

I do not view as being correct because it does lead to confusions, misinterpretations and undestandings. christianity wouldnt be as devided as is had it had ONE English version.

We, as Jehovahs witneses, use The New World Translation of The Holy Scriptures, which is a direct translation from the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures, so thats what I would advise, but critics would acuse us of "choping and changing" it to suit our personal understanding, which is false, so I would advise that they read The King's James version as it is also a direct translation from the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures...(it's identical to The New World Translation of The Holy Scriptures).
