The man being charged with the involuntary manslaughter of pop icon Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray, was arraigned Monday, pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on bail in the sum of $75,000.
As arranged Murray was taken into custody prior to his first appearence and was booked before being taken to court.
His problems do not end there however because the Medical Board of California (MBC) also filed papers against Murray which claim that he has demonstrated an "utter disregard for the care and well-being of the persons entrusted to his care".
They requested the court to intervene on account of the process to strike off doctors being a long and arduous one.
In accordance therewith the Judge, in addition to surrendering his passport, made it a condition of Murray's bail that he cannot be in possession of or prescribe any deep anesthetics and specifically mentioned Propofol.
"I do not want you sedating people."
The MBC say that they consider Murray a danger to the public.
Jackson's parents and several of his siblings were present for the hearing which was over in less than half-an-hour.
Murray's return date is April 5 2010
