Emotions ran high as throngs of pupils held a vigil outside the Protea Court in Soweto on Wednesday, with two entrances to the court being locked and blocked by two Nyalas.

Angry students rattled the gates despite the heavy police presence.

Policemen fired rubber bullets at the protesters because they also started banging and jumping onto the police vehicles that were parked outside the court as the court was hearing Molemo Maarohanye known as Jub Jub and Themba Tshabalala’s bail application case.

The unruly students were also jumping over perimeter walls of private houses opposite the court.

Police officers then opened fire sending the school children scattering all over the street.

The protesting pupils had vowed earlier today to kill Jub Jub.

The court heard today that Jub Jub was high on cocaine and morphine at the time of his crash, as was his co-accused, Themba Tshabalala.

Jub Jub was subjected to a lot of verbal abuse as he arrived in court this morning, even prisoners meant to appear at the Soweto court warned Jub Jub to watch out in Zulu saying “Ayeye, Jub Jub, Ayeye” from their prison vans.

A Congress of SA Students member tried to calm the crowds down earlier by using a loudspeaker to communicate with them but was not heeded.

The pair allegedly killed four students and critically injured two when they raced against each other, driving parallel in a two way street when a car came from the opposite side forcing one Mini Cooper to swerve back onto its rightful lane and in doing so hit the other Mini Cooper from behind forcing it off the road, mowing down students who were walking home from school.

The State is opposing their bail application which will now carry on tomorrow morning March 18 after 3 witnesses were heard today

They pair are facing four charges of murder, two of attempted murder and one each of reckless driving and drunken driving.

This is American culture - kids high on drugs and driving cars irresponsibly.

Thank the ANC - they brought in American culture, having brutalised the blacks with a communist terror campaign.

SS,
Were Ju Ju and Jub Jub friends? How well do they know each other?

I think Julius would have done well to visit the families of the victims and Jub Jub because by visiting Jub Jub alone, he has made it as if he's picked a side instead of supporting everyone affected by this unfortunate incident.

SS,
What do you think abot Ju Ju visiting Jub Jub rather than the families whose children were killed? Latest reports suggest that one of the victim's fathers is extremely upset.

I still believe that Ju Ju, just like Jesu Jesu, will inevitably walk on water. Many commentators naively think that they will help to destroy Ju Ju. However, I reckon that, day by day, they are creating a South African messiah who might even lead this nation to Harare.
